i USED THIS TO PUT A SATA SSD INTO A PVR WHICH HAD IDE HDD THAT HAD BEEN RUNNING WARM. WORKED WELL FOR A WHILE. THEN THE SSD BEGAN TO FEEL A BIT TOO WARM. YESTERDAY THE PVR SEEMS TO HAVE FAILED. NOT ABLE TO GIVE A TRUE REASON. BE CAREFUL AS MY PVR HAD THE SAME MOLEX OPOWER PLUG BUT 5V AND 12V ARE TRANSPOSED SO HAD TO MAKE AN ADAPTER. I DID ASK THE SELLER FOR A "PINOUT" FOR THE ADAPTER BUT I RECEIVED NO REPLY.
