    A must see film for anyone interested in Modigliani and Picasso

    This is an extremely engaging film in terms of subject matter, sets and costumes with a wealth of famous actors who depict their characters well. It portrays a harsh depiction of Modigliani and made me reframe what I thought I knew about him, Picasso and their lives in France at the turn of the 20th century. Religious, social and financial pride and prejudices flow throughout - but beautiful all the same.
