Excellent quality and good value long telephoto lens.
Excellent, crisp and compact micro four thirds lens. Useful long telephoto range with reasonable speed f/4 to f/5.6. Power OIS gives several stops of stabilisation and works wit dual OIS on compatible bodies. Great for birding etc.

Panasonic 100-300 mkii
Perfect for bird and wildlife photography. The duel stabillisation works well when not using a tripod. Some people have said it's soft at the long end of the zoom range but good results can be achieved with practise. My only criticism is the manual zoom ring is quiet stiff making it difficult when trying to focus in manual mode. All in all a good additional lens to have and highly recommended. Perfect for bird and wildlife photography. The duel stabillisation works well when not using a tripod. Some people have said it's soft at the long end of the zoom range but good results can be achieved with practise. My only criticism is the manual zoom ring is quiet stiff making it difficult when trying to focus in manual mode. All in all a good additional lens to have and highly recommended.

Great Lens - Look for one in top condition.
This is the Mark ii version of the lens, and it is excellent. I had the Mark i version, and although quite dear enough, it did not zoom in or out very smoothly. Paying more for the Mark ii in good condition has paid off. Both lens have excellent glass and clear sharp pictures are taken, but the Mark ii I bought operates very smoothly, and is a pleasure to own. The Mark ii will be marked 'Power IOS' on the barrel (rather than Mega IOS) and the ring at the base will be black rather than grey.This is the Mark ii version of the lens, and it is excellent. Great reach; an ideal lens for wildlife photography
This lens has outstanding reach without being too bulky. It is clearly a large lens for a MFT camera, but doesn't make it feel unbalanced. Hand-held, the stabilisation works well and images are clear and well detailed in good daylight.
