    New Favotire

    I read a lot. That is not to say that I am a great literary expert in any way. With that said, this book is truly a great read. It is, to put it simply, one of the books that once started you can not put down. It takes something already know, like the story of Troy, and makes it completely new and fresh. This book is officially added to my top 5 favorite books of all time.

    The Iliad for 2012, via a sneak preview in 2011.

    I paid full price, i.e. the Amazon/Prime retail price upon release, so there weren't any savings made on this one, as one might have assumed as it is ARC/Proof/NFS. Any book that elicits high praise across the pond because it is an intelligent takeoff from the Homerian epics should be endorsed wholeheartedly on eBay where it was procured, more so when the writer is American, female, and it is her first book. Well done!

    Truly a new look at the Trojan war.

    Truly a new look at the Trojan war and the mortality of Achilles as well as a nice job portraying a loving relationship with Patroclus. I bought the book on a recommandation from my daughter.
