Given the low price what do you expect...
Just had to install one of these in a customer's Audi TT. The good things: It turns on and has a large screen.. Things that are not what you need: Steering wheel controls do not work Has only front Left and Front right line outs which makes it incompatible with the TT's sound system and it needs front and rear channels. You can bridge the line outs to run all 4 channels but that just leads onto the other issue. It's very quiet - you need to have vol set to 50 and above to get anything FM radio reception very poor as have only sent a standard fakra to ISO lead and not a dual one with phantom power feed (easy to get around as have correct part). Audio levels very different between Bluetooth and Radio. Audio defaults do not work. Graphic equaliser - probably the worst have heard - doesn't ... It does mostly go in but is going to be a real challenge to remove again without breaking the lugs.

Dangerous!!!! Smoke and broke!
Bought this for my BMW 320i (E93), got the garage to install it, radio wouldn’t work, not compatible with my antenna or it’s just rubbish quality. Then while still at the garage, the mechanic tested it again and smoke started to come off the system and then it stopped working entirely. Nightmare!!! For the price, not worth the hassle!!!! Will be returning for a refund.

Very good for the money but needs some work and additional components to get the best out of it.
The fascia kit fits the 8J Mk II TT well. Looks stock. Mounting is essentially clip in / friction fit. Seems good enough but time will tell. The instructions are non worth opening so you are on your own or get help. I did send one query to the vendor but never got a response. The touch screen and interface are responsive and the unit has a polished feel. The Carplay works really well both wired and wireless. The Android Auto only works reliably wired in my testing. When first connected, like other reviewers state, it seemed quiet and only front (or if connectors swapped, rear) speakers were working. This is because the TT has an amp and does not make direct connection to the speaker outputs of the head unit. Although there is no proper wiring diagram I probed the unpopulated ... I re-pinned the connector and now have all four channels and plenty of volume. There is a very slight ground loop hum when the engine is running. Not bad enough for me to hunt down the cause or add ground loop isolation though. The Fakra antenna adapter supplied is the wrong part as it lacks the phantom power needed to run the antenna amp. If you want to use radio you will need a replacement (the Connect2 version works well). Since the Audi 'Diversity' antenna switching is built into their head units you will never get the same performance from aftermarket for FM/AM. Our TT does not have MFSW so can't comment if the CANBUS interface supports that but it does handle switching with ACC correctly.

Great stereo sometimes takes few mins to connect and no sound adjustments just volume control but overall it’s a good addition to the car including car play navigation also android market place to down load more apps when connected to hotspot or Wi-Fi ( be patient when fitting and watch video on you tube * fitting android CarPlay stereo to mk2 tt)
