Auf der Basis quantitativer und qualitativer Daten zeigt dieses Buch, welche spezifischen Anforderungen die berufliche Weiterbildung erfüllen soll, um ältere Mitarbeiter zur Weiterbildungsteilnahme motivieren zu können. Die dargestellten theoretischen Ansätze leiten die empirische Untersuchung, um zu erkennen, ob eine Individualisierung der beruflichen Weiterbildung für ältere Mitarbeiter eine weitere freiwillige Teilnahme hervorruft.
