Disappointed
Set Up: I had to use the station autoscan at least 12 times before it found the majority of the BBC's stations. Setting up the stored stations took over an hour. It seems to depend (I'm still not sure what I was doing wrong) on microsecond timing between pushing two buttons. In Use: Switched on the radio off whilst listening to BBC radio four. Switch the radio back on to find that it has retuned itself to either BBC radio two or BBC radio four extra. Control buttons are fiddly. Using the off/on button to select the desired station often results in switching off the radio completely. Reception and Sound Quality: Reception is good, But can be affected by where you stand in the room, I presume in relation to the aerial. Not quite as good as VQ Monty
I have the VQ Monty as well and this looked similar but it is harder to do the presets and also harder to switch on and off. Sound doesn't appear quite as good. However price is a lot cheaper and functions are the same and size is virtually the same. Reception OK. Doesn't actually look as smooth.

controls are fiddly and too small. cannot receive Jazz FM and Scala which are DAB stations nice attractive appearance and handy compact size

Great little radio
