Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D takes place after the Battle of Yavin where Luke Skywalker blew up the Death Star. In the face of the Imperial threat, Luke Skywalker and Wedge Antilles have put together a group of 12 of the Rebel Alliance's finest pilots. This group is known as the Rogue Squadron. The game seats you in the center of the Star Wars epic by letting you fly as Luke Skywalker. There are a number of ships are at your disposal: X-wings, Y-wings, A-wings, V-wings and speeders. Although these are the normally selectable vehicles, sharp players will find hidden vehicles. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D places you in 16 environments ranging from water fly-overs to volcanic regions. Fans of the Star Wars series and web site will likely notice such locations as Mos Eisley, Kessel, Mon Calamari, and Corellia. LucasArts offers owners of Star Wars: Rogue Squadron 3D a free update at its web site (www.lucasarts.com/products/rogue/). This free downloadable add-on allows the player to fly the Naboo Starfighter, enter secret levels and discover new craft. Whether using laser cannons, photon torpedoes or simple tow cables, you'll have to defeat a number of enemies including AT-AT walkers, AT-STs, TIE fighters and many more. Rogue Squadron 3D Worth Getting
I just recently got into pc games and really had no idea about all the requirements and so forth for each game. After upgrading my computer with a graphics card it has opened up a whole new door of gaming experience. Star Wars Roque Squadron is exactly what you would expect for a great first person flight game where it is all shoot and destroy and not much plot. The graphics are really nice for the year it was made and when I say that I mean it looks good. If you put the highest resolution on the settings screen you will see a great improvement over the look of the game. For instance waves and other smaller details come out and make the game even better looking. There are codes you can put in to fly the millenium falcon and unlock bonus missions. Worth it!
Rogue Squadron 3D still holds up almost ten years after its release. Good graphics, excellent gameplay, and a continuity based plot make this game a heck of a lot of fun. Medals are awarded for good performance on missions. There are plenty of air-to-ground and dogfighting opportunities, however battles are almost completely planet based, with no space combat at all. This keeps the "flying" in two dimensions, which I find easier. Sta Wars Rogue Squadron (video game).
I decided to bought this game, because I'm a fan of old Star Wars games. This game is from 1998. The looks and feel of this game are still outdated, but that is the charming from the game. The action is great! You can play it with a (wireless) gamepad. So if you don't care of modern graphics in a game, you can try this one!

A very goodvintage PC game
Well, I am a fanatic and a fan for sure of Star Wars series, I have all the movies, many PC games and another produtcs, and, of course, this game could not miss on my private collection....It is a classic game, very hard to find it, in my homecountry I did not get any of them, so I decided to take a look at Ebay, because the American Market is pretty bigger than Brazilian one, specially when we talk about certain specific items, like this one...The game is in very good shape, works perfectly however is an old title from 1998...The only difficult thing I have to purchase at Ebay is the time that the item is kept under inspection at the Brazilian Customs...Sometimes, the item takes more time stopped at the Customs Desk than the time of the whole trip from the origin country...Another ...
