    Hi All.I bought this lens Nikkor 135mmf/2.8 ais as it.s build quality is superb,all metal apart from the rubber focusing ring. It,s primarily a Portrait Lens,however it can be used for many other,certain items in Landscapes,ideal for Short Telephoto Street Photography.With a fast 2.8 Great for low light,and produces Wonderful Bokegh,which keeps your main Subject Sharp and renders the rest to a minimal.I love Manual Focus Lenses as you Gain Precise Focus,if you have the wish to obtain the Old Fashion {and best method of photography}then this type of lens is the way to go.

    luv it.

    what can I say? quality manual- focus lens, in every way. I luv it. 135mm is my fave- focal lenghth portrait lens, for head + shoulder shots, I like the m-f, its a change from auto-focus.

    Great economical first step into the world of quality f2.8 lenses.

    Wonderful lens to help an amateur learn photography. You really must concentrate on focus and apertue selection. For such a relative low price for an f2.8 lens you really can't go wrong. To improve your pics with this lens use on a tripod with a remote shutter release or have the shutter speed as high as you dare to stop camera shake.
