About this product

Product Information

Bob the Builder makes his PlayStation debut in a series of eight activities designed for children ages three and up. Each of the activities involves guiding one of the BBC television show's friendly construction vehicles or principal characters in the following tasks: Porcupine Rescue, Travis' Race Day, Plumbing Puzzle, Can We Build It? Bubble Trouble, Scary Spud, Wendy's Birthday, and Where's Pilchard? Each activity can be played at one of three difficulty settings to accommodate both younger and older players.

In Porcupine Rescue, players control the crane named Lofty as he fits pieces of pipe to match the shape of the underground tunnel so a family of porcupines can cross. Travis' Race Day involves racing against the cement mixer from an overhead view as either Scoop or Dizzy. Plumbing Puzzle consists of two activities where Bob must walk up to a radiator to fix leaks or repair old parts, while Can We Build It? Has players knocking down and then building a new bridge in two tasks featuring Lofty.

Bubble Trouble involves smoothing over bubbles in the pavement, and Scary Spud has players chasing away crows in Farmer Pickles' field. Wendy's Birthday is another activity divided into two parts. The first consists of a cake-building task where players decorate a cake with various toppings, candles, icing, and toy models. The second involves making Wendy dance using the control pad. Finally, Where's Pilchard? is a game of hide-and-seek as players listen to the cat's purring to help locate her whereabouts

The books arrived extremely quickly, were packaged with great care, and were exactly as described. The seller was quick to respond to my messages prior to the purchase, too. A great transaction all around.

Quick story; I bought 2 suede jackets on the same day both were basically the same price, great quality and were mailed in a timely manner. The difference was in how they were shipped. One seller in order to save money on their end sent the jacket in a plastic mailing bag, which meant in order to fit it into the bag they had to wad it up. The other seller was very professional in every way. Sent the item in a well packed box with a coupon and a thank you note. Its the little things folks .

  • Bob the Builder: Can We Fix it? (PlayStation)

I bought a this game a few weeks back for my 3yr. old son, He had never played a Playstation game before (They are hard to find at his age). He is already used to the PlayStation controls. As many of us konw the controls are hard for little ones. With this game it is very easy to play..And fun.. It also gives us alittle more time to spend together..There are many great games he can play on it..I would recommend this game for anyone who wants to start their little ones playing video games!!

  • Bob the builder game leaves a lot to be desired

I bought this game for my three year old boy who is a big Bob fan-we got the PS1 edition. I was very disappointed and he only used it for fifteen minutes and has never again. My son has been playing playstation games for about two months and enjoys spyro, star wars, and Burnout 3. Don't kids can figure out these advanced games in no time. This game is two dimensional and so basic its pathetic. you can use the left and right arrows to make the truck knock over piles of brick or directional keys to give the cat his food ( kind of like pin the tale on the donkey). Those are the only activities we could find- very boring for anyone into video games- a big letdown.I don't know if there are later editions of this game which may have improved.

  • Fun for 3-4 year olds

This game is engaging for my almost 4 year old son. His 2 year old brother loves to watch. Each activity you choose starts with clear instructions. The movements don't have to be exact which is nice for this age. It is fun but mom still has to sit and play it with the kids, until they understands all the rules and options they have.

  • Great game for preschoolers

My son loves this game. He's 3 years old and loves Bob the Builder anyway but I wasn't sure if this game was age appropriate or not until we got it. It definitely is.

  • Bob the Biulder

It's a fun game for kids 4 to 5 years old. Good presentation and introduction. Yet, it could be a little more challenging.
