  • Worth a read

The book is interesting , but it would be nice if it had gone into deeper detail. Yet if you like Fenders , it is still a great book to add to your library

  • The Rest of the Story

OK..We all know Leo Fender is the man that gave the guitar world an instrument that changed music forever.But..what was he thinkin' & doin' in his life when he fashioned the first Fender guitar...what did it look like...did anybody influence his ideas? If you'd enjoy the start to finish story on how it all came about with a pictorial guide as you go,this could be the book for you.Would you be surprised to know..unlike Les Paul with Gibson & Paul Reed Smith with his PRS brand,Leo Fender was not a guitar player?So..how'd he pull it off? It's all in the book.

  • a good overview of the Stratocaster

I wanted to know about the man who invented the strat. The book gives you a quick overview of the time line from the 50s and beyond. There are a couple of nice quotes from different people. Don't buy it if you think it's going to show you the models through the years. There are other books for that. Again this book is a thumb nail sketch of the popular guitars history.
