    Rear brakes

    Purchased hand held brake bleeder & wanted to bleed rear brakes following caliper & pad change. Hand held brake bleeder struggled to bleed brakes, took ages to partially bleed rear brakes. Ended up calling friend to help bleed brakes conventionally by pumping the brake pedal. A waste of time & money, may work on motorcycle but definitely not satisfactory for motorvehicle.

    A very useful device.

    Primarily I was looking for a hand operated vacuum pump for filtration. I was extremely happy to find that this unit could draw a vacuum of 675 mm Hg. Was also impressed with the accessories: The reservoir jar is excellent for keeping any fluid out of the pump unit. An ample number of hoses and fittings were also supplied.

    Works well, good value.

    Pulls and holds vacuum down to around 640mmHg just as described. The gauge is a bit optimistic and reads more than that but hey, it's an inexpensive tool. The fittings are all ok and look like they will last a few uses. It came with 2x long and 2x short tubes and 2x seals for the canister which is better than the description.
