SIBERIAN EDUCATION (EDUCAZIONE SIBERIANA) is an adaptation of the Nicolai Lilin autobiography of the same name. The film charts the author's experiences growing up in Transnitria, a lawless region between Moldova and Ukraine. The tight knit community live according to a strict moral code of respect and diehard loyalty. John Malkovich co-stars as Grandfather Kuzja, who trains his young ingenue in the ways of the 'honest criminal'.
