    A cheap but good video doorbell

    This product lets you view the doorway, allow the use of the existing door bell chime and is a lot less expensive than the other brands. The app is user friendly and actually works. I recommend this product.

    Works well enough for 1/3 regular price.

    Everything worked and set up was easy except the mechanical door bell does not reliably work. The doorbell worked at first but then stopped. By depowering and restarting the device the doorbell could be brought back but shortly after the doorbell would fail off. After contacting customer support, they determined I have a faulty unit and a replacement unit is being shipped. I'll update after it is received and installed. Follow up: The replacement unit worked properly for several months although I had difficulty removing the microSD card from the old unit due to some sort of gummy substance. I did get it out and cleaned up and it worked in the new unit until one day it suddenly was not detected by the unit. When I went to remove the card it was stuck in there and the card was destroyed ...

    Great value in video doorbell.

    Good picture, WIFI OK. No service fees with memory card. Hookup instruction would be better to say connect power module in parallel with doorbell and replace your switch with the video doorbell. Unit is better than expected.

    It was sold as new, but it was an open box.

    I have not installed/tested the unit yet. But all components seem to be in there. The unit was sold as a new one, but it was actually an open unit, and there are obvios signs of tear and wear... Very disappointed!
