Although the seller said it would be a month to get here, astonishingly it came in about 4 days.     A Lens That Has a Place in Every Camera Bag

    What's there not to like about this RF 50mm f1.8? Like most normal lenses, it's fast, sharp, light and a bargain. I already own Canon's RF 50mm f1.2, so it's not as if I needed another lens of that focal length. But the f1.8 has a place in my photography because of the quality of the images it produces, especially when I don't need my much heavier f1.2, such as for travel. This a great lens to carry in my camera case at all times.

    Great lens. Great value. A must have!

    I purchased this lens for my recently acquired R6 marking my return into the hobby. This lens is light, fast focusing, sharp, and upholds Canon’s reputation for their “color science”. These features make it a great walk-around lens despite the disadvantage in versatility compared to the 24-70 2.8L which I also own. At less than $200, it’s a no-brainer and a must buy in my book!

    Very solid prime lens great for beginners

    It produces sharp images and has good autofocus. The only thing I didn’t like was minor focus breathing but it is not an issue and for the price it’s very good.

    Little canon wonder

    The 50 1.8 RF is a very sharp and light lens, is plastic but feels durable. And the ring control is so nice and feels very softy. Near to 200 is the better lens you can buy first.
