    Disappointing!

    I recently watched an HBO "freeview" of episode one in the four-part video series based on this book. I couldn't find a source to stream the rest of the series or watch it on DVD, so I ordered the book to see how the story evolved. I had to force myself to finish the book and hated the ending. I struggled to find a likeable character in the book, even though the characters seemed very likeable in the first episode of the video series. I found it odd that the HBO series featured an almost all-black cast and a bi-racial couple. However, in the book, the the main characters are all described as being white. I try to avoid books that contain graphic sex, so had to skip through a lot of pages. All-in-all, I was shocked that this is a highly-acclaimed book that many readers described as a ...
