Great value second hand DSLR camera.
Needed another Pentax body and saw this one. Verified low shutter count 3,236, looks like new (although this is quite an old DSLR model; 16 mega pixel & year of manufacture 2012). Battery charged okay, took it out and works fine. Takes the K mount lenses, It is quite compact and light weight but has metal body so it is robust. Ideal for travel photography, cycling trips, etc when you want something more versatile than a "happy snapper" type camera.Needed another Pentax body and saw this one. Excellent addition to my camera equipment
Still getting used to the camera; one oddity is that auto focus is activated by a button on the camera back rather than the more conventional half press on the shutter release. Overall I'm very pleased with the results from the camera.

I’ve found my tribe….
I’m primarily a canon user (30+ yrs) The K-5 is a breath of fresh air. Everyone talks how good canon interface is, how good canon colours are… erm, excuse me, might I suggest you just try a Pentax. Completely opened my eyes. Fantastic colours, I love the Pentax interface, brilliant. Canon may be considered the market leaders by many, it’s true they are superb cameras. But credit given for Pentax, I simply was not expecting this. I’m literally stunned. Like living in a darkened room and someone has just thrown open the windows…..
