      Solenoid valve for honeywell furnace mounted humidifier

      It was easy to replace the old one with the new one. Connecting the IN-side is easy, the OUT-side is a lot tougher, i had to use teflon tape and used significant force with a spanner to make it water tight. One day observation is that it works fine. Only time will tell how reliable the product is. Picture attached has the model number of my humidifier.

      Universal solenoid

      Not a trustworthy product. Failed after a month of normal service. Solenoid seperated from valve body and water filled basement. Should be a continuous duty component. Save your money for genuine parts.

      Easy peasy install

      My humidifier went kaput and I thought I would need to replace it. But, it turned out to be the solenoid. This one is "universal" and I thought it may not fit. But, it works just great and now my humidifier is humming like new!

      Decent quality.

      Valve has been installed. Fit is good and quality decent. Unable to give a good review of product operation at this time as it will not be put in to service until winter. It provided positive shutoff at this time. It has worked great for 2 full seasons. No issues. Will buy again when this one finally fails.
