halfway there
I saw very expensive ball ended torx L wrench sets, and thought these were the same, but evidently the ball end on these is only for light torque, as there are no splines that wrap around the ball. As designed I expect the short part of the L is for higher torque loosening or tightening, while they expect the long end which has the ball to be used only for light torque, as in spinning screws in or out, but not for tightening them.
