    Excellent video converter!

    This converter is perfect for converting PAL video on an HDTV that is not compatible with PAL format.Instructions are a bit confusing at first but after studying it it is easy to understand.Would highly recommend this to anyone who is trying to play PAL format content on an NTSC TV.

    It's worth getting a video to HDMI Monoprice converter box

    This converter is a great value for the money in that it actually works! Many other video to HDMI converters here on Ebay right now (7-31-2018) do not! I like this unit for its HDMI pass through and good picture.

    Works but distorts old 4:3 pictures

    Does a good job of upscaling and converting, but does NOT preserve original aspect ratio. Older DVD pictures are scratched to fit the 16-9 screen and thus distorted. I find this unacceptable. For this reason I would not recommend this to anyone..
