    Compelling Read

    I read this after watching the film of the same name. I love the film, which is touching, thought provoking and sensitively done. The book, although great, is definitely aimed at the teen market, whereas the film is more accessible to viewers of any age in my view. I'd recommend the book, especially to young adults. It's an easy read on grounds of readability though can get heavy sometimes with the issues that it brings out. Warning: contains discussions of mental health issues with teens, violence in relationships, violence against gays, suicide and abortion, though these events are not all linked.

    The content of this book was so fascinating and the way it was written was beautiful and the book made me cry, laugh and pity Charlie all at the same time. I identify as a wallflower as well and I love how diverse and how the message of the book is very powerful. The delivery and condition of the book was also very good.

    This book always makes you want to continue reading it’s emotional and makes your heart give out to the people and story’s in the book . warning that you should read it on a clear mind and be open about the contents and story’s that happen in the book. I would suggest watching the movie as it’s mind blowing to see the story in action .
