Binding has minimal wear. The majority of pages are undamaged with some creasing or tearing, and pencil underlining of text, but this is minimal. Both the book and the box it came in smelled lightly like cigarette smoke, so I have to put the book outside for a bit to let it air out before putting it on display, but I'm assuming that it was originally obtained from a smoking environment, so I can't blame the seller for that. Overall the experience was good, and I would recommend this seller.
