About this product

Product Information

Nintendo released this original Pokemon Stadium game back in 1998 in Japan. The package contained the game as well as the 64GB Pak (called Transfer Pak in the US). The original Pokemon Stadium is a much more limited game than the later US release with the same name. Not only does it lack more than half of the Pokemon featured in the US version, it also misses many of the added features.

Packaging was great no issues, the arrival time was good as well. Some of the games have cracks around the inner ring (3 approximately), and few heavily damaged boxes. Other wise appeared as described, and for the price I’m otherwise pleased :)

Pretty straightforward: ordered a 10 pack of very short extension cords (makes plugging transformers into power strips easier). Either by mistake or intentional bonus, the seller sent me 11 - thank you. Aside from the 1 free extra, I got exactly what was advertised with the shipping price and shipping time both being perfectly reasonable. The overall price per unit was excellent which is why I chose this seller. Fully satisfied and would buy from them again.

Took a chance on this purchase because of the good reviews and because it’s the only battery I’ve seen on eBay that matches the exact description of the battery Nintendo used to sell on their website. So far, I have not been disappointed! Shipping only took a week, and came with USPS tracking. Battery looks brand new, and works great!! The only thing I’d be aware of is the packaging was very minimal, I was surprised it wasn’t at least bubble wrapped, but mine delivered safely so I guess it’s ok!

  • Different from What you Know in the US.

While this is Japan's first Pokemon Stadium game it should be noted it is NOT the same as the first US game. If you do plan to get this game you should try to get an adapter for the Gameboy Pokemon games. Also note that it all has to be in the Japanese NTSC-J region, though the system/controllers don't have to be. While the first of it's kind I don't know that it holds up all too well today, considering the next two installments have more content to them. It's still good for a collection or if you want to experience the very first Pokemon Stadium hands-on.

  • poket monsters stadium JP n64

It doesn't have all original 151 pokemon but that's ok because this game was essentially a beta of what was going to be. It shouldn't be judged as a whole game but instead compared to a sort of demo. Of you want to see some of the original animations and colours for the pokemon this game has it. If you don't have a Japanese n64 you'll either need to use a gameshark or mod your n64 to play Japanese games. The mod isn't difficult and requires no soldering or chip installation, just cut a bit of the plastic away. This game is more for collectors or pokemon enthusiasts than regular gamers.

  • Pokémon Colosseum game review

This Pokémon Colosseum game is deserving of five stars because it came in the condition it was advertised. And the game play works great with no issues since I bought a Nintendo 64 that plays Japanese and North American games.
