The sequel to developer Bungie's best-selling Xbox launch title returns for more first-person shooting action against a host of new alien races. Players once again assume the role of a genetically engineered soldier known as the Master Chief as he battles the remaining forces of the Covenant for control of the galaxy. The Master Chief will now be able to acquire new weapons from fallen enemies and explore the planetary landscapes from inside more than double the number of vehicles found in the original. In addition, Halo 2 features both a single-player campaign playable across multiple difficulty settings as well as online competition using the Xbox Live broadband service. No matter which mode is selected, players won't be alone in the conflict: allied forces will once again join in the battles and skirmishes to help repel enemy forces.<br><br>This "Collector's Edition" of Halo 2 comes packaged in a tin case, with an additional DVD disc containing several documentaries and short films about the making of the game, the creation of the Halo franchise, and the history of Bungie Software.

    A Piece of Gaming History

    I picked this particular auction because I liked that it was more complete and in better condition than others. Little did I realize I may as well have picked this fresh off the store shelves when it came out twelve years ago, and this was in far better condition than I ever could have hoped for. Even the advertisements and scratch cards this came boxed with originally were still un-touched, and I have to say I was overjoyed to share this experience with my little brother who got the same wide-eyed experience out of this that I got when I first played ten years ago. This was better than I could have possibly hoped for and would have gladly paid more than twice what I paid for the item.

    Halo 2 is perfect go play it.

    Halo 2 is already a perfect game, this legendary edition case was even better since its damage made it feel as though you had unearthed an ancient forerunner relic from the game.

    Well I was just doing quick shopping and saw this and bought it thinking it was the game. But I found out when it came that it was just the movie about how halo was made. No game but it was clean and packaged well so this product gets a good rating. Just be sure to know what your buying first.
