    Still not the original .....

    This was a quite entertaining picture. Well done, probably in the European fashion. More plot and acting, less "action". Unlike the typical newer Hollywood shows, with lots of dynamic action and "shoot 'em ups". I thoroughly enjoyed the show, even though I already knew the general plot line. It will go into my keeper files, to be watched over and over, unlike the Bruce Willis version, which is already gone. The downer is that I distinctly remember certain scenes from the many times I have seen this film over the years. Two versions now, and I am STILL looking for the "original". Any help? Bill Hudson

    4th time I've watched it.

    This is a classic 1960s spy film. By today's standards it may seem a bit primitive. But it gets the job done. And the title rocks.

    Day of the Jackal original

    Excellent movie a lot of behind the scenes Thriller of how they are trying to catch an assassin but it turns out and they were on the trail of the wrong person all the time and got the Assassin by accident. Good movie
