    This is a great drain plug for a good price.

    The guy in the reviews who says the magnet isn't strong has no idea how an oil pan works. This drain plug will infact do just as much if not more than the higher priced brands.

    Great product, except .....

    This is a great product with quality. However there is a slight issue that is not a problem of this item. Since the oil pan on the Toyota is steel, not aluminum, when attaching the drain plug, the magnetism tend to pull the plug crooked before the thread engage. At first I thought the plug was the wrong size because it wouldn't thread into the hole. Then I discovered the problem and have to use care in finessing the plug to engage the threads. Just as a heads up, if any other tech were to do an oil change, they might cross-thread the plug/oil pan if they are not aware of the problem.

    Magnetic oil drain plug

    I like this item. I generally use a magnetic drain plug and this fit both my 06 and 2010 Prius. They appear to be well made and have a strong magnet. Only time will tell how they hold up but they should last the life of the car unless some gorilla tightens them beyond spec.

    Finally a magnetic oil drain plug with a strong magnet!

    Just as described and the magnet is very strong and will hold a wrench as pictured in the auction. Fit my wife's 98 Corolla no problem. Now I will be able to see if there is any metal shavings in her 302,000 mile engine!

    2006 toyota matrix

    Perfect fit on 2006 toyota matrix. Magnet is really strong. Just changed oil and the drain plug. Well see how it works on the next oil change. Hopefully attracts a lot of metal shavings.
