    best box i have owned

    this box is a brilliant box it replaced my humax box which I have had for couple of years which was a good box but I wanted to move onto a 4k box for a much better picture. I bought it and I wasn't at all disappointed with it. it was very easy to set up for me and once I had sorted it all out the picture was amazing much better than my older humax box. the wifi connected very easily with it and my streaming is very quick and easy. I would suggest if buying get the bigger hardrive as 500gb may sound a lot to record but when recording in 4k it takes up much more of your hardrive space and up. I bought the 2 terabite hardrive version which is future proof as you have plenty of recording space . I always think that if you buy cheaper to save money you end up needing more hardrive space so ...

    Very easy to set up, just follow the 3 instructions on the box. Performs very quickly to remote button presses, no lag. Program guide loads immediately which is a massive improvement over the one built into my LG tv which can take an age. When selecting a program from the guide you are presented with another menu which offers the choice to watch or record or set a reminder. If record is chosen there is an option to record at other times if available. Great product.

    Huge Freesat memory

    So far so good. Easy to install, but must concede it was replacing a similar older model, so all the connections were ready, but it was very straight forward. Getting used to the users instructions, but pretty self evident. The programming is easy just needs a bit of playing with the controller (instructions), and good results on playback everytime. The size of the memory is awesome.

    Fantastic free alternative to Sky - just buy it!

    If you are planning to sack Sky and move to a 'free' something else, this is it. The operating system is wasy to use and fast. If anything this is better than Sky. Picture is amazingly clear and pin sharp. One big advantage is that you go backwards a week on the Guide. Some programs can be watched using this system but at least you can see what you have missed. Pros: HD channels are great quality and the audio quality is good too. Very easy to set up. Recording set up is dead simple and intuitive. Free to use - no expensive contracts. Use in combination with a Chromecast/Roku stick or Fire stick and you have it all. Cons: Hard drives can be flaky but are dead simple to replace for £20 or so. Sometimes initial setup can be tricky - solution - just let system os update to latest version.

    Easyto use and set up.

    Used to replace Sky Q, whilst not as many channels as Sky and not as many HD channels the available ones are of excellent quality. I don't understand why FreeSat nowadays can't produce more high-definition channels. However, the box itself is very easy to use and set up and will use the SkyQ LNB
