The Heater arrived well boxed and protected. A check of components showed all to be present along with an instruction booklet. For initial bench testing I placed the heater on my Black and Decker workmate with the air inlet and exhaust facing down between the two open jaws. The air inlet pipe and exhaust were attached along with one of the silencers. A 1L bottle was filled with standard white diesel (Esso) and connected it with a length of plastic tubing I already had to the filter, pump and heater. The electrical connections were plugged together, taking care not to miss-align the pins. Finally the battery was connected (Used my motorcycle battery for bench testing purposes. The inline fuse was fitted and the display illuminated. :-) Next job was to prime the pipe from bottle to fuel inlet on the heater. This is a simple job if you activate the priming function then watch the fuel fill the filter and rise up the pipe to the heater. I had to repeat the prime function twice. After that it was just a case of pressing the on button. Heater started its fan and glow plug, then pup started and within 4 seconds the exhaust note changed as the diesel started to burn in the combustion chamber. Its now run through 8 L of diesel and gone through an assortment of startup and shutdowns, flat out and slow running and I am happy to say its operation has been faultless. The output on low is just what we want with minimum noise. Throughout the testing period the exhaust has been smokeless with only a slight haze on startup. I can fully recommend this heater based on my experience Read full review

What a fantastic bit of kit. I looked around for ages at these, reading the reviews, watching You Tube etc and finally bit the bullet. It's nicely packaged and good quality. I did replace a couple of bits here and there but just screws and clips and such like. I built mine into a flight case so it's portable for use with ground tents and my workshop. On full you cannot hold your hand in front of the vent. It's incredible. On the lowest setting it's just enough to air things through and perhaps dry things out without damaging them. Built into a van it would be superb. You could run it all night. It's really not noisy and whilst the pump does click, click, click, you could insulate it some more and it's pretty rhythmic so not a real disturbance. There is actually a popular 'social media' forum dedicated to these heaters.Read full review

Great product. I've installed the heater under the drivers seat in my vivaro camper its a bit bigger than i expected but managed to fit it in the seat base frame after cutting some excess metal so it blows into the back. I work away and stay in the van monday to friday and in that cold spell recently the heater was on a low temp setting and it was a cosy 24 degrees C in the morning when it was -5'C on the dash. Best way to educate yourself on using the heater is watch vids on YouTube to for the lcd controller, theirs not much to it but the heat setting is in HZ instead of Celsius but it can be changed Overall great purchace for the price 👍
