It does not pump air fast enough , in my opinion, to keep up with air tools. Ok for a nail gun, or filling tires. For a 2.7 cf it's weak. Fairly quite. I also don't like the fact it has no shut off valves on the pressure side of the regulator. IF you have a hose connected that leaks it will drain your tank.
