Good cheap replacement keyboard - however " and @ keys.

Reasonably priced keyboard with good travel on the keys. USB connection. The only issue is the @ key and " key are transposed/wrongly located (possibly in a US keyboard configuration). I am used to this as I have owned the same keyboard previously. Good cheap replacement/spare keyboard if your wireless magic keyboard breaks, or you need to connect a new wireless keyboard but you are not logged in to set it up. I bought two of these as spares - coffee/wine spillages do happen - so good to be prepared.

You get what you pay for

For the money, it's hard to complain -- it looks okay, the keys feel a little spongy, but it did the job. I was only using this as a backup for when I need to connect a keyboard to my media centre or a headless machine so it had limited use. One the third or fourth use I was typing away and the D key just broke -- it still works but it sits depressed from the other keys and no longer springs back. After so few uses that's very disappointing. Thankfully, not a deal breaker as at least it still works. Probably worth spending a little more though.

  • Repeat buy!

I am definitely not the most delicate keyboard user and also spend lot of time gaming so that the WASD keys in particular get well pounded. This is a cheap wired keyboard with a standard layout a reasonable key action and I have found they last and wear as well if not better than more expensive models I have owned, When I start using the last of my stock, I buy two more.

  • Faultless and Wonderful Value

At the price it is being sold for everyone should have one as a spare. My first has been in use every day for over a year with no problems, this was a second purchase to replace an HP keyboard that failed. Take a note of the "Power" "Sleep" and "Wake Up" buttons.

  • Average keyboard

It was easy to setup and use. It's not the most comfortable keyboard to type with and it's definitely noisy as it's not soft touch but overall, if you're looking for a basic keyboard it's a reasonably good product and considering the price, it's good value for money.

  • OK

I wanted a keyboard with "Scalloped" edges to each key, so that it would not be possible to press two keys at once, the edge of each key being raised a little to hjjold the pad of the finger pressing the key. Here is just the example .."hj.." are next to each other. I will never be a touch typist. The old IBM keyboards had the scalloped edge. Your Advent keyboard however works well , and the keys don't stick in the down position

  • excellent product for the price

I like typing on this thing. the buttons have good travel and are responsive. Also, the sleep button on the top right of the keyboard is a genius addition. One thing - some keys may feel like they need more force to click - this is because the rubber beneath the key is off centre. To fix, remove the key cap for the faulty key (use back of spoon or something) and then use a toothpick of pen to nudge the rubber circle beneath the key into the middle of the little square the key fits into. replace key-cap and it will work perfectly.

  • Good keyboard

Excellent and strong. Easy to use and excellent build. Good connection to the PC. I brought that for my Son laptop that had some missing keys and with this keyboard is like it come with the laptop as it connect easily and smoothly. My Son is enjoyed now. Thanks.

  • Laughable

When spending just over 5 pounds for a keyboard you need to manage expectations. I was expecting a noisy rattly keyboard to use as an emergency spare. I did expect the keys to work though. The right shift needs my whole body weight on it make it work, some others need a press far too firm for a keyboard. Impossible to enter passwords which only show asterisks as you never know if that capital letter worked. Utter rubbish.

  • Good keyboard but loud and clunky

As the title says the keyboard is good especially for the price. Straight plug in and that's it. Only problem for me is the keys are loud and very clunky so unfortunately I'm looking for a different one now
