I used it today to cover a hole in an asbestos drainpipe. A lick of paint and it can't be seen. Remove the backing paper a little at a time is the only caution I will add.

I tried to repair an exhaust leak at a join on the rear of my exhaust. I wrapped the tape around the join about 20 times to make it very thick covering. The adhesive tape stuck quite well but didn't last very long. After about 25 mins driving, there were plumes of smoke coming off my exhaust and I could smell the adhesive burning off the tape. Then the tape began to fall off.
