The BlueProton Phantom 3 is a standard WiFi range extender kit for your apartment or home. The kit comes with antennae of different broadcast lengths: 2 2.4-gigahertz 7dBi panels, omnidirectional antennae to partner with the panels, a 5.8-gigahertz 10dBi antenna, and a 6 dBi, 5.8-gigahertz panel antenna. Square antennas did not impress or gave more range than the long ones
Had more range with the long ones than the square ones, weird. The range increased like 20% over using the wind surf with the standard antenna and also signal was more stable. Also, the need of aiming straight to the drone with the parabolic dish was eliminated, just be shure the antennas are straight up. Original antenna far better
I have done electronic work for many years I am a ham radio operator I know how interconnections work so with that said be insured I did the install correctly. After 3 X rechecking flying rechecking and flying again I could not get the Drone past 200 feet before auto-return kicked in. I switched back to the original antenna and was able to go well beyond 600 feet. Easy Mod for distance
Was skeptical but once rec'd and installed was impressed with the addition range. Even help where building were blocking about 20% increase, open areas without obstructions noticed 60% increase but had to adjust antennas a bit. Would recommend for someone that's looking for an easy upgrade that's not afraid to play around with electronics. Someone not knowledgeable could do this with the YouTube instructions. Got mine today
Got it, opened it up and installation is really easy. Took my p3s out to test, and it has great range now. I'd bet my mavic pro could still double or triple the range, but considering p3s stock have about half mile range, I came very close to hitting the 1.5 mile mark after this upgrade. Easy affordable upgrade to increase signal strength
This upgrade was easy with very little prior "electronics" experience needed. 20-30 minutes to complete. It has increased the range from ~500 meters to ~800 meters in a neighborhood with a decent amount of possibly interference. (Plenty of tall trees, big houses, cell tower, and power lines) I have not tested in a more suitable environment yet due to weather, but anticipate even greater distance. The signal strength also seems to not fall off as quickly as before. (Green-strong signal to an immediate Red-loss of signal) Worth every penny.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

The omni Antennas gave more coverage than the panel ones
I followed the instructions provided about how to install the product, they were easy to follow and execute. However I noticed that the video signal is weak, I think it is related with the 5.8 Ghz Antenna. CAREFUL!
Works amazing....I outran my DJI software's range limit on first run out. be careful pulling wifi antennae off. I broke the controller's circular portion, but the center was still there...pressing in place and hot glue made it work for me after i semi-broke my controller's connector. I recommend cutting all the existing glue off before lifting wires off at all and using a flat thin object to ensure you lift directly straight up. pulling at an angle is risky...i broke one of the 3 connections. even with that....range is amazing. 1560 feet over major freeway and stil showed FULL remote and WiFi bars. amazing. be sure the 5.8 antennae is in the middle!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Doubled the flying distance
