It's a little heavier with a little more roundess to the handle. If you don't want to pay the astronomical prices they are asking for the old gillette sensor this is very close to the feel you get with the old gillette sensor. I mentioned the gillette sensor quite a fewe times because this is what I wanted from the Taconic Razor. Taconic delivers, very happy with the razor.
