Perfect reader. Does exactly what it says it can do. There are many readers kicking around the net, so you have to be careful with what you buy and what you spend your money on. I've had this particular one for a month or more and I've used each of the card reader apertures and they all work perfectly! Combine that with great value for money and you've got a winner. My recommendation is to buy it and when you do, hold on tight to it, because such IT articles and deals like this come around just once in a lifetime.

Bought this item, looks the part, unfortunately it does not work like any other card reader Which I have used. I have no idea where it sent the pictures in my comp which i wanted to download. Tried it a few times, no success. Bought another card reader off ebay, half the price, same features, works perfect. Plug it in downloads pictures and they instantly appear on screen. and are also shown as a folder in my pictures library. Brilliant works just like other readers which I have used. Not having ago, but being truthful .

This adaptor is fantastic! You can use almost any memory card with this for only a couple of pounds! It works very well, but sometimes it doesn't always pick up my SDHC card, however after taking out the USB and putting it back in a few times, it works fine. For the sake of a couple of pounds, you haven't got anything to lose!

This is a neat little card reader and very inexpensive. Using an OTG USB cable I was able to read photos from an SD card on my Android Tablet. The card appeared as "USB" in Total Commander which is an app that works rather like Windows Explorer. However, there is a problem: as it arrived, it was impossible to plug in an SD card as the metal slot in the case doesn't line up with the card slot on the PCB. I had to take the device apart (which is easily done by gently prizing out the white plastic end piece). I then used a needle file to make the slot wider (see photo). I also re-soldered the USB connector which was crooked and tacked on by a little blob of solder on only one side. It all seems good now. It has the makings of a good card reader if you have a few simple workshop tools!

Everything you'd want from a memory card reader.I just put my camera SD card into it, popped it into the USB port and then found the card reader in My Computer. Nothing to install or anything! I bought this due to a recommendation from my 71 year old father. It really is age-proof to use. I have nothing more to say about this except buy one now! I can't believe it's so cheap yet works so perfectly.
