Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best-selling in DJ Mixers
While I understand the move by many manufacturers to produce mixers with digital architecture (firmware upgrades, efx etc) it seems somehow contrary if you want to play largely vinyl. The Xone PX5 is a welcome diversion from this trend in that its signal path is analogue, with a digital efx bank that you can genuinely 'send' signals to. Added to this, a nice -sounding inbuilt soundcard is a great additional touch, particularly if you use Traktor and DVS from time to time. The effects are perhaps more subtle than, say, Pioneer's djm range but I prefer this. They enhance the musicality of what you are playing rather than dominating. The vcf filter is superb but be aware there is only one filter bank that can be assigned to any number of channels. My only criticism would be the crossfader. I'm no turntablist, but I find the 'constant power' cross fader setting rather difficult to get used to after using an albeit long in the tooth Pioneer djm 600 for so many years. I hope familiarity will ultimately win out in this regard. One last thing... this mixer does sound superb. The difference is noticeable even through a middling domestic system. The tone is warm and solid, without the brightness that seems to blight some digital consoles. It's a subjective thing, maybe, but a quality that was important to me. Read full review

Great sounding mixer, far better than popular DJM’s. I’ve had many different mixers before and currently upgraded from Xone 92. Only missing second filter but you can manage without it. Amazing sound effects and build in sound card integrates well with Traktor software. Beautifully sounding phono preamps. Highly recommended!
