Quite inexpensive cooler
I needed a slightly better CPU cooler then stock Intel cooler, as my small case ITX build left the CPU running at 80oC under full load. Once new cooler installed temp improved to around 68oC at full load. Nice an Quiet.
Nice and Quiet. Much less noise than the Intel stock Cooler. I didn`t notice any difference in the running temp, but I was lazy and used the thermal compound patch on the cooler, rather than applying decent compound. Looks good in the case. Good value for money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Value
I had purchased this as a replacement for my stock intel lga 1336 cooler, as my MOBO is an ASUS P6T SE it has mountings for both lga 1336 & lga 775, product was simple to install, product also comes with pre applied thermal paste so simply line up the pins and push firmly downwards into the mounting holes, it's early days but looks like it keeps my CPU 5% cooler than the stock intel (mobo is cooler too) my CPU is an older 1st. gen i7 920. I would recommend this for those looking for a new cooler, dont be fooled by the low price, this cooler is a gem and better than forking out 3x the money for a replacement Intel stock cooler. Good little cooler
This cooler replaced a bigger Arctic Freezer 7 Pro, which although massive, had too small a CPU contact area for the AMD A10 7800 processor with GPU I installed to replace an Athlon X4 860K plus graphics card. Amazingly the X4 had worked for 5 years with the incorrect cooler! I scraped the thermal paste pad off the cooler as it looked and felt naff, and cleaned both contact surfaces and put a new bead of HY510 thermal grease on the 7800 CPU before fitting the cooler. I clipped one lever of the cooler to the anchor nearest the PCI slots, then used a stubby screwdriver thing inserted into the notch in the other lever and pressed down to click it into place. Early days but the new cooler seems to work fine temperature-wise.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
