I bought this flash used(of course)for my Pentax 645. TTL flash does work with it. The flash is rated at guide # 20 in meters at 100 ISO. But when checking it with a flash meter, it seemed more like 15-17. Maybe it's not as powerful as it was when new. It's very versatile. There are 2 f stop settings for non TTL auto mode(and it's pretty accurate). There are 4 power settings in manual mode-full, 1/2, 1/4, and 1/8. Most small inexpensive flash units only fire in full power in manual if they have manual mode at all. This little guy does not tilt up to do bounce. And most diffusers that fit the "big guns" that tilt up won't fit on this one. I'm still thinking of a way to make a good sized diffuser for it.
Useful off camera with an optical trigger for fill, rim, or background light. Not sure whether AF200 has a safe power rating for attachment to new cameras but without bounce one wouldn’t do that anyway.
