TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1) DAMAGED ITEMS/ WRONGFULLY PURCHASE ITEMS

A) All Hornet articles are in brand new condition and in almost every instance will arrive to you in such condition. All items are finished in a coating of black paint for additional protection. Upon dispatch they are thoroughly wrapped in bubblewrap and packaged in a cardboard box for added protection. However, despite this and due to the nature of the items and the nature of couriers there are rare instances where the items may become damaged in transit. In some instances there may be slight imperfections or scratches to the paint, as this is a purely cosmetic problem and does not affect the performance or application of the exhaust in any way, we do not constitute this as a reason for return. If the item arrives seriously damaged then please contact us immediately and we will sort out a replacement item ASAP.

B) In instances where the wrong part has been ordered and you have attempted to fit the exhaust to the car we will not be able to accept the return. If you are unsure whether a specific item will fit your car then please check with us prior to purchasing and we can confirm whether the exhaust will fit.

2) DISPATCH/ DELIVERY TIMES

A) Most items are dispatched next day when ordered before 11:59pm. However, occasionally when the “3 day courier” option is selected, we may withhold the item for an additional day and then send the item out on a 24 or 48 hour delivery service. The item will still get to you in the same time, it may just be dispatched a day later.

B) We cannot pass on delivery-specific information to our couriers. When purchasing the item if you leave your phone number or email address a text or email will be sent to you upon dispatch containing your delivery information. From here, you can track your delivery and also select items such as leaving the item with a neighbour or leaving the item in a safe place in case you are not able to receive your item.

C) Once the item has been dispatched we will not be able to change the delivery address without incurring an additional delivery charge. If you wish to change the address after the item has been dispatched we may be able to do so, however the fee will have to be paid by the purchaser.

D) Please be aware that due to the size and weight of our parcels that for some postcodes in Scotland there may be an additional charge to the postage cost. Please contact us before purchasing if you're unsure whether you may be effected by this.

3) GENERAL INFORMATION

A) If you are planning work on your car we recommend that you wait until you receive your item to make sure that you are 100% happy with the item and happy that it will fit your vehicle before you begin any work. We cannot be held accountable for any financial loss if you book your car into a garage and the item doesn’t fit your car.

B) With our universal exhausts please be aware that they are not designed as a direct fit for any car and therefore may require additional parts or modification. We ideally recommend that your exhaust is fitted by a fully qualified mechanic.

C) All of our exhausts are sports/performance exhausts and should be treated as such. This means that you will notice an increase in noise from your vehicle which can vary depending on the vehicle you have. We cannot accept returns if you consider the exhaust “too loud” for your vehicle.

D) Our exhausts have been developed mainly for race and competition use. As such, they have not been emissions and decibel tested for road use. In most circumstances, the exhaust will be fine as long as used in conjunction with an additional silencer such as your existing centre silencer. However, we can offer no guarantee that the car will pass an MOT.

E) Please note that when replacing your original exhaust with an aftermarket or performance exhaust part that your fuel economy may be affected.

Great exhaust
So been looking at getting a new exhaust for my r53 mini cooper s but most are like £500+ so thought id try a hornet exhaust as they were a lot cheaper quick delivery and everything was well protected and sealed.had it fitted perfect I wanted a louder exhaust ive got one pops and bangs just what I needed

Awesome noise! Sounds amazing ! The quality is fantastic I was very pleased! The fit is perfect! Tiny tiny bit of tweeking was needed but nothing a lever bar can’t fix on one of the hangers. I used a washer in between the two tabs at the exit of the exhaust to make them look flush. I bought the resonator version and thank god I did!! This system is loud! And it does drone. It always vibrates the car internals so you’ll get rattled you never have had but these are fixable. The throttle response has perked up dramatically. The only thing I would say is defo go for the resonator version ! In my opinion it’s still too loud but the miltek is so expensive I just can’t justify spending that sort of money ! Fun, loud, good quality but drones a bit.
Good quality and value but very loud! It drones in 2-3.5k revs though, especially under load. If you don't mind it being loud and you mostly drive around town this will certainly put a smile on your face. It crackles and pops nicely too. I changed it to a quiet one as I drive longer distances too though so that will tell you something...
