I would have rated this 5-stars were it not for the fact that the thread on the bolt galled up on first use. That being said, I found it does take some force to remove a ball joint after 13-years in situ. Thankfully I did find that despite the damaged thread, it was still useable and I managed to remove the second joint. Other than that, it’s a solid well built tool with good tolerance’s and fit. Would I recommend it? Yes but watch the bolt. Oh and for the avoidance of doubt, I was using hand tools only as recommended.

People who are stripping the thread are using too much brute force. Tighten the tool and then hit the opposite end to the nut with a hammer to shock the bush.Tighten a little, and repeat.

The bolt broke completely off on the first ball joint I tried to remove. Not very strong material it seems.
