    Better Brake Blocks

    These are much better than the cheapest ones available on ebay. The rubber material is less abrasive for alloy rims and the gripping surface is better with a decent water clearance X pattern. The shoe plating is brighter and they use acorn nuts that don't corrode. Finish and performance much better than the very cheap ones, though nothing beats the original Ferodo red blocks, unfortunately these are no longer available, so these are a good alternative.

    They are retro cool!

    These remind me of old brake shoes from the 1970s and they are nicer quality than many of the types being sold on the web. They appear to be real rubber compound which is a denent thickness and has a nice grip on the rims of the wheel. I've put them on my old Saracen Hardtrax that has been rebuilt and they suit it perfectly. I would get these again.

    GOOD QUALITY.

    Appear good quality. Have yet to test fully braking efficiency as most makes of brake blocks now not pure rubber and very hard. Do not brake stop very well as the old Ferrodo. Like the slots cut into the blocks.

    Great in the dry

    Used to replace old but barely worn blocks. Very much better braking in the dry. Haven't used them in the wet but the grooves in the blocks should help clear water from the rim.
