PDG Binos!
Very clear and bright image quality, with a very good light-gathering capability. Not really that heavy, their sturdy construction means that they're not exactly 'lightweight' either! Easy to focus, with a good width to the field of view, these B&S Sahara 10x50s are amazing value for money. I do, however, feel that the rather flimsy carrying case is a bit of a 'let down'. Anyway, bottom line is 11 out of 10 and I would recommend them to anyone wanting a 10-power magnification binocular.Very clear and bright image quality, with a very good light-gathering capability. *PDG = "Pretty Damn' Good". Most impressed; In the hand, they give the firm impression of being extremely well built. They are easy to adjust and focus, giving very clear and bright images. Although not THAT heavy, I would not describe these sturdy binos as lightweight. I have only three criticisms of the binoculars, which are, nonetheless, excellent value for money: firstly, I think the plastic eye-shields are a weak point from a build quality point of view (er, no pun intended!). Second, on my pair, the dioptre compensation ring is rather stiff, but this may be seen by some as a good thing!. Lastly the supplied case is not, I feel, in keeping with such a first class and high-quality product. In the final analysis, these nitrogen filled 10 x 50 roof prism, FMC, BAK4 binoculars ... *PDG = "Pretty Damn' Good". Best binoculars
These binoculars are excellent,good value and very well made with good quality. The lenses are superb and the range adjustment is exactly as described with clear images close up or far away. I use them for bird watching most of the time. They are not lightweight but certainly not heavy, easy to carry.
