Great little unit
Perfect compact little unit. Bought because I have a Windows 10 tablet with USB ports that are not powerful enough to supply voltage to an external USB powered hard drive. Tested it out last night and I was able to run 2 external drives at the same time. Very slim and well designed. Good quality power connector and cable. Mains adapter only needed if USB sockets used for charging
The mains adapter is only needed for charging stuff via USB (4 amp total), not for signal connection. The hub is small and neat, but the power adapter is large and the short power cable wasn't long enough.
