Best vacuum I’ve ever owned
I’ve had them all: Rainbow, Electrolux, Shark, Dyson, etc etc etc and all have been a huge inconvenience for less than desired results. This vacuum is lightweight yet powerful. The attachments are practical yet not so many to be ridiculous. It gets into corners and under furniture edges impressively. It goes from bare floors to thick carpet with a turn of a dial. I did not have to chase dust bunnies or dog hair around the room like some reviewers complained about. You can see how fast the canister is filling up and empty it before you end up pushing the machine for exercise only. It has a long enough cord without turning into a snarled knot and stores compactly. It doesn’t have a stupid big ball on the front of it - the best marketing gimmick since chia pets. You get what you paid for.
The reviews are accurate, especially reviews on this on Amazon. It worked fantastic the first few times it was used, but it seems unless you rinse the filters out after each use, it just does not pick up stuff as started out doing. Again you pay $100 for a vacuum, you get $100 worth of a vacuum.. you pay $220 worth for a vacuum, you get something much much better... you get what you pay for. I plan on buying the airspeed by Eureka which is FAR Superior to this, as I have owned a few, yet are more costly. I will use this cheaper vacuum for the animals area, and the better vacuum for the house. Emptying the canister is a pain, because while you are able to push a button and it empties dirt and grime gets stuck in the upper filter easily and so you have to release the inner filter to get the excess stuff to fall down into the canister, and the way you do it is you have to reach your hand into the canister and twist the filters to drop down..so please be sure to either wear gloves, or at least wash your hands after dealing with this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightweight, sweet vacuum!!!
A+ vacuum, lightweight, easy to assemble, durable and extremely awesome suction!!!!!!!!! I can't say enough good things about it, sweet vacuum and attractive cost! I have allergies galore, there is a stunning difference in the clean look of my carpet and floors using this vacuum, they look professionally cleaned. The cord is long, the attachments are great. I had to get used to not turning a vacuum on/off by pressing it with my foot, the switch is light and on the side of the vacuum. Bagless is really ideal for me, super simple to empty and you can wash the filter. It has Clean View technology. It's also quiet and although my dog absolutely hates vacuums, she stares at it but doesn't try to attack this vacuum because the noise is much lower. It's a nice, well-built attractive model, everything fits together perfectly. IF you vacuum something you need to pick out of the vacuum, that is so much easier to do with this model. This vacumn was rasy to assemble, is very light to use and has amazing suction. It works perfectly on both tile and carpet and picks up cat hair and dog hair. It also does a great job on furniture wand stairs with the power beater attachment and a long hose. Powerful, Lightweight, Great Vacuum
One day I'm vacuuming with my dyson and used the hose to clean the a/c and struggled to get the dust bunnies off. Checked the suction and there was hardly any there. I opened it, cleaned, checked for any blockage, none, so time to replace this beast. It was giving me a hard time for about a year when I thought about it. Searched online for reviews, because I wasn't spending another $700 on a vacuum, as this Bissell kept showing up high if not the highest on most lists. I went here and found the best price to order. (Could have ordered 8 of them for the price of that beast.) Like other reviewers had stated, I couldn't believe what this powerful vacuum sucked up off my carpet, as if I never vacuumed these carpets before. SMH. The ease of use compared to the beast was night and day as well as being much quieter and quicker. Of course, the hose worked great. It's a vacuum, who cares where the on/off is or that it doesn't have a cord wind. The beast didn't either, so it's the same for me. As long as it's doing its job, she's a keeper. Quiet, light weight, easy to push
Love the vacuum!. Almost all pros except...The cord is shorter than my old Dirt Devil. The canister doesn't hold as much as the Dirt Devil did. I must have a very dirty house (dogs and hubby, so yes). I have to clean out the filter every time I vacuum. I've already replaced the post filter and I've blown one out with air compressor. Really Does Its Job.
I go thru vacuums quite often and I'm happy to say that this one is a pleasure to use. I have 5 cats and a dog, so my living room carpet is vacuumed every day. It's easy to use, easy to empty and really gets down to work. Love This Machine!
This vacuum is not easy to push over the carpet and while it is easy to dump the tank it takes some extra attention to clean out the talcum like dust out and it has two different filters that need to be cleaned regularly.... that is what makes it great! I've sold Kirbys, owned Hoovers, Eurekas and Orecks, uprights and floor models. This machine out cleans any we have ever had. The first time you use it on carpet you'll be astonished at what it pulls out, the dust is like a grey talcum powder and the lint is like dust bunnies (this from a carpet was about a year old that has been vacuumed weekly with a name brand upright). The only reason I purchased this vacuum was because I saw what my Mother-In- Law was getting out of her carpet when she asked me to thouroughly clean her vacuum one day. I'm sure the technology has a lot to do with it and there are probably other like machines out there just as impressive, but I seen five Bissels working (relatives) and IMO, for the price, yopu can't go wrong.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

down market vacuum with bare bone features
Replaced another Bissell with this one. 3 in the last 9-10 years but all we need it to do is suck, and that it does well. Even though it doesn't have the auto cord return, wide roller and larger capacity, we really need just for the integrity of the unit to last more than 3 years on average. On the last one the height adjustment broke to where it only was any good on bare floors so vacuuming shag areas was out of the question, unless wanting to do weird resistance training.
