It is not cheap or flimsy item, but a quality piece of kit. When fitted it is firmly attached using the clamps provided with no movement this will ensure that the blade to edge of guide is constant and parallel. Clamps and rotary point are neatly stored to the underside of the plastic guide end. Very please Thank you.

The parallel cut could easily slip and ruin work surface during cutting unless the the thumb screw was moved into a totally different position. That position was not indicated!
