I bought this tooth brush as I still have my wisdom teeth and whist I had been using a manual brush with a small head for quite a while, I wasn't always confidant that I was giving all my teeth a really good clean. This oral B toothbrush is easy to use, does not need charging every day and allows you to reach all your teeth easily without doubting the quality of the clean. Highly recommended.

There are just so many different models of Braun electric toothbrushes on the market nowadays, it is almost impossible to tell the difference and make a selection. Rather than concentrate on a few top quality machines, I think that Braun have joined the 'throw away' club. My previous Oral B lasted about 10 years, but this ones is on its way out after 18 months. It is a comfortable brush to handle, does a good job of cleaning my teeth and the charge seems to hold for a long time. It is nice to have a timer but one thing that is missing is a light to show that you have placed it on the base properly and charging has commenced. The soft push on/off button can be difficult to feel and this is what has become a problem on my machine. Sometimes it will not turn off and I have to keep pressing and pressing before it stops and others it won't turn on at all. When I put it down it starts on its own...time for a new one!Read full review

Actually it's not better than expected, as I already have one, this is the back up. But it does the job just as well as all the other more expensive Oral B electric brushes and doesn't have annoying flashing lights and 30second buzzes just the 2 minute timer. The battery generally last about 4 or 5 years which seems a bit short to me, but proabably par for the course

When I first received the brush I let the battery run down as this is usually good for the battery memory . What I didn’t realise is that if the unit is left switched on it will not take charge . I contacted the suppliers when it wouldn’t take charge and they resolved it . Turns out that’s what if done with the one I was replacing so now I have 2 brushes . The new one obviously lasts longer and I’ll be using that one one mainly for when I go away and don’t want to take the charger with me , as I find that one charge will last about a week when the battery is new .

This unit replaced one that I'd had for many years and then failed to charge properly. This unit I paid a lot less for but is more powerful and I'm sure will give me many years of service. However, unlike the unit it replaced, this one has no red indicator light to advise the battery requires charging or that is when on the charging adaptor and, therefore, no steady green light to advise when it is fully charged either. I would have given it 5 stars if it incorporated an indicator light which I found very useful on the previous model. Still a very good product though & far superior to a manual tooth brush.
