Quality not Quantity needed
There are just so many different models of Braun electric toothbrushes on the market nowadays, it is almost impossible to tell the difference and make a selection. Rather than concentrate on a few top quality machines, I think that Braun have joined the 'throw away' club. My previous Oral B lasted about 10 years, but this ones is on its way out after 18 months.
It is a comfortable brush to handle, does a good job of cleaning my teeth and the charge seems to hold for a long time. It is nice to have a timer but one thing that is missing is a light to show that you have placed it on the base properly and charging has commenced.
The soft push on/off button can be difficult to feel and this is what has become a problem on my machine. Sometimes it will not turn off and I have to keep pressing and pressing before it stops and others it won't turn on at all. When I put it down it starts on its own...time for a new one!
