Its an all round sturdy piece of equipment I was quite surprised by the structure being very solid for the price paid, you can cut any angle with ease and the saw blade is very sharp and cuts easily through the hardest of wood with no bother at all, it is also very precise would recommend to anybody who's a keen d.I.y fanatic like myself it can be screwed permanent to any bench or just clamp onto a workmate, it all arrived in a good package box totally undamaged with instructions easily to follow and with attachments I think its good value for money.

Silverline have made the worst product ever, the parts are rickety and made of cheap plastic. The flat cutting angle is slightly off centre at the “home” position and the rotating angle doesn’t lock properly so it’s never going to saw straight at 90 degrees... I’m going to keep the saw and bin the rest. Then I’m forking out the cash to buy a proper mitre saw as I should have done in the first place. This was a waste of time and money.

The supports fro the saw were made of brittle plastic and the saw didn't move freely. I should have taken more note of other reviews, rather than thinking other folk were just being picky.

Unfortunately the build quality of this product is poor. The presets for the angles are not accurate and the vertical cut is not straight. I bout this for a skirting board replace, ent project but ended up cutting the angles I required using a pencil line and fine toothed saw. Don't waste your money.

The saw was bought as I only had one job where I needed to cut 45 degree corners, The saw arrived with a drawing, not instructions of how to build it, and even the drawing was not a complete description as parts in the box were not shown on the drawing! Not a good start. Moving on I built it and try as I may I could not get the saw to saw either a square cut or at 45 degrees, so I may as well have not bought it, the production of the casting of all parts is poor, the mould should have been renewed a long time ago as they are all loose where you need the to be snug and where there are alignment markings, well its basically guesswork. In a nutshell DO NOT BUY THIS CRAP!!!!!
