Cracking little lathe for small to medium work and beginners. Easy to setup and use. The only problem I found was the threading gears were hard to remove but a small set of pullers sorted it out.

Arrived in a ply/metal strip packing crate. The two packing bolts are mounted through the pallet feet so you either must lay the box on its side trying to support the lathe, or place the box on trestles or similar with the feet suspended so you can get at the bolts. Other than plugging in and test running, I haven't had time yet to machine anything. Based on various Youtube videos, it is recommended to dismantle the entire machine, clean everything, regrease all moving parts and reassemble.

What to say? If you have never had a lathe before, you are on a steep learning curve. It's not 'plug and play' I've spent a week getting it sorted out. That said, it's a pretty good little lathe once tightened up and everything is aligned. Thankfully for those not familiar with lathes, there are hundreds of tutorials on U tube to help.Overall, I'm very pleased with it.
