The teapot itself looks attractive, holds a litre which is a practical volume for 1-2 drinkers. It does not drip which is commendable as so many teapots do. Lid fits tightly and has a steam hole. There are some traces of solder around the handles/spout so I hope it will be durable even though this is not the travelling type of teapot . I have to say that the company that sells it, Grunwerg, makes a lot of its heritage and base in Sheffield so it is really a comedown to discover that this is not a British product but a made in China one, the price should therefore be cheaper.

Excellent teapot made using quality products. Absolutely non drip which is a distinct bonus! Easy to clean and with the infuser it does away with having to use a tea strainer. Would certainly recommend to anybody wanting a new teapot.

The handle does not look very secure onto the body of the teapot. Also being all metal the handle design is likely to get very hot. As this is a present for another, I hope this is not the case and the handle does not come off.
