Repaired CD player works a treat
CD transport looks and works like the original. With some help via an online tutorial video I proceeded to fit it. After the removal of the solder bridge prior to fitting the installation was quite straightforward. If you are careful and put everything back exactly as it came out you can rescue a perfectly good machine and reduce landfill all for a relatively small sum.

Save a defunct CD Player
This is a great solution to saving a defunct CD player. Easy to fit (though the picture of the solder bridge that must be removed is microscopic, why not make it easier to see?). My old Cambridge Audio CD now works perfectly again. You can see the quality of the mechanism is not as high as the original, and I don't know how long it will last but at this price it doesn't really matter.

Great Product
This fixed my faulty CD player. It was no problem to change the unit over and it now works like a new player. The sound quality is outstanding. I recommend this product, and I recommend you change the tray belt while you have the player dismantled. Also a good idea to use an anti-static mat when doing the job.
